Definition - in a broad sense: state of him who is as he ought to be, righteousness, the condition acceptable to God,the doctrine concerning the way in which man may attain a state approved of God,
integrity, virtue, purity of life, rightness, correctness of thinking feeling, and acting
in a narrower sense, justice or the virtue which gives each his due
1. Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith(believing) to faith(faith of Jesus Christ): as it is written, The just shall live by faith(believing).
2. Romans 3:5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
