Ephesians is a doctrinal epistle, Philippians a reproof epistle (meaning - 'oops that's not it' the doctrine is not being applied to practice in the right way) and Colossians a correctional epistle (here's the right way.) All to get back to the original doctrine of Ephesians.

Looking at the use of the word heart in Ephesians and comparing it to Colossians and Philippians:


1.  Eph 3:17 - That Christ may dwell in your ❤❤ by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

2.  Eph 4:18 - Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their ❤:

3.  Eph 5:19 - Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your ❤ to the Lord;

4.  Eph 6:5 - Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your ❤, as unto Christ;

5.  Eph 6:22 - WhomI have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your ❤❤.

1.  Philippians 1:7 - Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my❤; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
