ζητέω - zeteo to seek in order to find, to seek a thing, to seek [in order to find out] by thinking, meditating, reasoning, to enquire into, to seek after, seek for, aim at, strive after to seek i.e. require, demand,to crave, demand something from someone (Thayer and Smith) Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. The Greek word 'zeteo' is used 19 times in the church epistles that are specifically addressed to us.1. 2. Ro 10:3 - For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
